Tiny Epics: Vol. 1

I first stumbled upon microfiction through a Twitter account called “MicroSFF” back in 2019-20. Sadly, the author who ran the account shut it down to satisfy his contempt for Elon Musk.


Quite the shame, if you ask me.


The author let his grievances get in the way of bringing light to over 100,000 followers around the world, but credit where it’s due: he inspired me to pick up the proverbial torch and give this peculiar little art form a go.


Fast forward a few years, and I’ve since written hundreds of micro-stories (141 of which are packed into this volume alone), and I can safely declare…


I LOVE IT.

While microfiction doesn’t offer the same sprawl and freedom of a novel, there’s something deeply rewarding about shaving down a story to its single moment, idea, or emotional punch.


Inside Tiny Epics Vol. 1, you’ll find just that: more than 100 pieces of bite-sized fiction – from two-sentence stories to flash-length bursts – spanning fantasy, sci-fi, and a sprinkle of horror (another genre close to my heart).


Perhaps I’ll devote future volumes to specific genres, but as this is the inaugural edition, I wanted this one to reflect my journey as an author and the genres I enjoy most.


Some stories deal with tragedy, triumph, and self-sacrifice. Others revolve around faith, love, corruption, and even laughter in the face of grave adversity. Each tale will be given its own designated page – a stage, if you will – to win your heart, clench your fist, or leave you with a sobering thought.


I should mention one other thing:
